The team at The Therapywise Foundation is made up of myself (Jo, a professional therapist) and the animal assistants who help out and love to meet new children, young people and families.
I also collaborate with Wye Valley Mediation, who are committed to helping families and children resolve disputes.

Woof, I'm Annie. I'm friendly, curious and gentle. I love to play, especially with children and young people and I love learning new things. I also love to eat lots of treats. Once we get to know each other I will let you give me lots of well placed scratches too. My human says that I am very good at telling people what I like. And what I don't! I have helped children gain confidence, work through their anxieties, get over their fear of animals and build relationships.
Hi, I'm Jo. I'm a Play Therapist, Family (Filial) Therapist and Animal Assisted Play Therapistâ„¢ (AAPT). I am trained to Masters Level, with Distinction, am accredited by the British Association of Play Therapists (BAPT) and have completed further trainings in Filial, AAPT and Online Play Therapy. I have been committed to helping and supporting children and young people for more than 20 years. I have experience of working with children who have been fostered or adopted as well as those struggling within their birth families. I am Flossie. I can be a bit shy at first but once I know you won't hurt me I am a very curious and friendly rabbit. I like giving bunny kisses in exchange for some of my favourite treats. I have only got one eye but it doesn't stop me living my life to the full.

I'm Bertie, the newest fluffy one around here. I live with Flossie. She thinks she's the boss but she's not really, that's me! I like being in charge and when I'm really happy I'll let you know by doing binkies and zoomies. If you want me to be extra friendly and happy you can let me have some of my favourite treats or give me some new things to explore. Even better would be both at the same time!!
